Thirty-nine years after its original release, the Nike Mac Attack, a sneaker that was produced for tennis great John McEnroe, makes its first retail return. The roster of pairs will consist of original colorways, new aesthetics, and a joint effort with Social Status.
The leadoff hitter for the retuning lineup sports a light smoke grey leather upper, underlaid with black mesh at the toe and forefoot. Black also shows up on the Swooshes that adorn the lateral and medial sides , with the same hue also present at the collar and rear heel. Red “NIKE” branding appears on the tesselated tongue label, while “NIKE” appears on the rear heel.
Underneath resides a white midsole and grey rubber outsole.
The “OG” Nike Mac Attack is scheduled to begin its sophomore retail journey June 23, 2023 at nike.com and select retail establishments; they will carry a 120 USD sticker price.
